EN : Kameshnishki/”Shy” Waterfall is located near the village of Kamena. There are several waterfalls in the narrow gorge on the ravine of Kameshnitsa. This is the largest waterfall discovered so far in the Bulgarian part of the Mountain. It is 21 meters high and represents a single high-water vertical jump. The waterfal is named after the river, which is – Kameshnitsa, but because of its hidden location is also called “Shy”. From the village of Samuilovo marked (green) tourist trail that follows the thematic route “Secrets of the water” leads to the waterfall. The walk takes about 2.5 hours. From the village of Kamena following Kameshnitsa River valley the waterfall could be reached on a marked tourist path for about 45 minutes.
